 | Long time no post... but I finally did it! After years of yapping about it, I finally ran away from home! After 40 years living life as a Wisconsinite I packed up a car load and became a resident of North Carolina! I left my job of 8 1/2 years on September 19th and started a new one September 21st!... so I've been a little busy. House hunting, job settling in and adjusting to life in the South has been keeping me busy. The dogs and husband are still in Wisconsin but will be coming soon, once I'm settled in the new house and those home projects in MKE get finished up! Four years ago I saw a fortune teller at Bastille Days that told me I was going to make a big move that is not what I thought it would be (West Coast!... not Seattle or Portland!) and it would take me much longer than I expected. She was right as I debated between heading to two Southern cities! I'm finally putting all my reading of Garden & Gun to good use!... eating pimento cheese where ever it finds me and falling in love with Cheerwine! |
